Whether you’re ready for pumpkin patches or live music under the stars, check out these nearby happenings to make the most of this time of year.

The Pumpkin Festival at Denver Botanic Gardens Chatfield Farms

Oct. 11-13, 9am – 4pm

Kick off the season with a classic favorite — the Pumpkin Festival at Chatfield Farms. Just a short drive from Solstice™, you’ll find yourself picking pumpkins, enjoying hayrides, and exploring the corn maze. It’s the ideal spot for a fall day out with family or friends, complete with food trucks, live music, and beer and hard cider vendors for the adults.

Hudson Gardens’ October Bird Walk

Oct. 26, 8am – 11am

For a more peaceful fall outing, the October Bird Walk at Hudson Gardens offers a chance to connect with nature. Led by an Audubon Master Birder from the Front Range Birding Company, this guided walk is perfect for exploring the vibrant fall colors while spotting local bird species.

Harvest Festival at the Littleton Museum

Oct. 12, 10am – 3pm

The Harvest Festival at the historic Littleton Museum features  live music, traditional crafts, and hayrides — a fun and educational experience for all ages. Soaking in the charm of local history amidst the harvest season is the perfect way to spend a fall afternoon with the family.

Aspen Grove’s October Events

Woof-O-Ween: Oct. 5, 3:30pm – 9:30pm Aspen Grove’s fall festivities kick off with Woof-O-Ween, a paw-some free event for dog lovers! On October 5, you and your four-legged friends can enjoy a full day of pet-friendly fun, starting with the Pet Pawrade at 3:30pm, where pups can show off their most creative costumes, benefiting Pepper’s Senior Dog Sanctuary. Explore over 25 dog-centric vendors at the Barkin’ BAZAAR, let your pooch bob for bones, or enjoy a dog-friendly hayride. Don’t miss the dog agility shows, dog tarot card readings, and a thrilling costume contest at 5:30pm. Stick around for Doggy Date Night and watch Cruella under the stars with your pup!

 

Halloween Extravaganza: Oct. 19, 4pm – 7pm 
The Halloween Extravaganza at Aspen Grove on October 19 offers fun for the whole family. Treat your little goblins to a Candy Crawl around the shops at Aspen Grove, and enjoy bounce houses, hayrides, and magic shows on the main stage. Add some spooky flair with face painting and dance to DJ-spun Halloween classics. The Mystikal Makers’ Market features over 100 local vendors with crafts, food, and more!
